Cache purge plugin for WordPress

In case you are using WordPress and would like to automatically purge the cache of your websites (hosted at DIHOST) whenever an article was added or updated, you can now use the DIHOST cloud cache plugin.

Once installed and configured the plugin will automatically send a purge request to the server which has the same effect as doing it manually through the cloud panel.

Installation

To start using the plugin you’ll first have to download and install it in your WordPress installation.

  1. Download the link using this link.
  2. Upload the plugin through the WordPress control panel.
  3. Activate the Cloud Cache plugin.
  4. Navigate to ToolsCloud Cache and insert the application ID and key.

Application ID

To get the application ID, simply navigate to the cloud panel and open the settings page of the application/domain where you installed the plugin. Now look at the URL of the page and extract the ID between the application/ and /settings part of the URL.

The application ID has the following format: 2a1f09d0-7b42-11ea-a6be-499932d62f0h
Do not use this application ID! Use the one extracted as described above.

Application Key

The application key can be generated in the cloud panel on the settings page of the application/domain where you installed the plugin. Look for the section Application Key, where you can generate a new key. Ensure to copy the newly created key as it cannot be viewed later.
