In this article you will learn how to access your website files and how to manage your FTP accounts within the cloud panel.

Connect to the FTP server
In order to access your website files over FTP, you will need a FTP client. We recommend Filezilla or WinSCP clients.
To connect, simply use the FTP server and port displayed on the overview page of your application (navigate to the main menu Applications and on the next page select the desired domain).
Main FTP Account
After adding a domain to the cloud panel, the system will automatically create the main FTP account for this specific domain. There is no need to create the master FTP account manually unless you need to create multiple accounts for whatever reason.
The username and password for the master FTP account can be found on the overview page of your application (navigate to the main menu Applications and on the next page select the desired domain).
Additional FTP Account
In case you need to create multiple FTP accounts, navigate to Applications, choose the desired domain, expand the File Access tree and select FTP Manager.
Click Create Account in the top right corner.

| Username | Enter the username for the new FTP user. The system will add the prefix automatically. |
| Password | Enter a strong password for the new FTP user. |
| Confirm Password | Confirm the password entered above. |
| Path | This is the path to the directory which will be the base of the FTp account (eg. if you would like to allow access only to the /backups folder, enter /backups into the path field. |
Please allow up to one minute for the account creation.

A FTP (file transfer protocol) account is a type of user account that enables the transfer of files between your computer and our servers. This is a very old method but still used with almost all web hosting services as it is the most reliable and fast way when it comes to upload or download big files from or to a server.
